As leaders of change one has a critical role to play in ensuring that the change effort is successful. Change management is a structured approach to transitioning individuals, teams, and organizations from a current state to a desired future state, to fulfil or implement a vision and strategy. The purpose of this paper is to provide a framework of the concepts and practical example of change management and tips/tools on how you can lead a successful and rewarding organizational change initiative. The guide focuses on two streams; the “process” or change model, and the “transition” or emotional impact when embarking on a change effort.
