The Indian Civilization, among the world’s oldest and richest, has a strong tradition of Science and Technology. Our contribution to astronomy, mathematics, medicine, and practical arts are not adequately acknowledged in the Western World, either due to ignorance or prejudice. This chapter gives glimpses of the history of our achievements in ancient India.
